Bydidam Resort is situated about 1km outside of Citrusdal on the R303 to Ceres on the family farm Middelpos. It is proudly owned by the Van Zyl family who also reside on the farm. We have 10 self-catering chalets with a restaurant that overlooks a big dam where you can enjoy sundowners while watching the sun set in the beautiful Piekenierskloof Pass. The resort is surrounded by orange trees and guests are welcome to stroll around the dam and orchards. We also have a lapa/pub where sports enthusiasts can enjoy an ice cold draught or two or three… There is a pool overlooking the dam for the use of the chalet guests.

Accommodation that feels like home
We have 10 self-catering chalets with spectacular views over the dam and the Cederberg mountain range. 5 of the chalets are two-sleepers with a queensize bed. The other 5 have two bedrooms with two bathrooms, a queensize and two single beds, alternatively 4 single beds. Every bathroom has a shower and a bath. The chalets are fully equipped – free wi-fi and air-conditioning as well as DStv, every chalet has its own braai outside. We can organise for wine tastings as well as horse riding trips and we allow fishing in the dam.
